4 December 2007 - Rugby World Cup Forecast result

The winner of the above competition with 140 pts was Stuart Kirk from Aberdeen.

Second was Kevin Bulloch with 138 pts.

Stuart correctly forecast that South Africa would beat England in the final and that Argentina would play in the 3/4th place play off match.

Had Kevin predicted that Scotland would beat Italy in the pool stages, the result would have been different!

The competition raised some £2300 for the reinstatement of the clubhouse.

We will soon be taking possession of the clubhouse from the builders. The committee have discussed the positioning of the team photographs (we have 4 at present).

If you have any team photographs that you are willing to donate to the club, please let me have them ASAP.

Rather than decorate the club with photographs of Santasia, 7s teams, youth section, merchandise etc, the committee have approved the purchase of a photoscreen with digital photo frame. All we need now are photographs of the various items mentioned above and someone who will scan the photos into the memory card. Any volunteers?
