27 August 2007 - Barry Sinclair elected to Scottish Rugby Council

Congratulations to Portobello's Barry Sinclair has been elected unopposed to the Scottish Rugby Council where he will fill the position of Edinburgh Regional League representative.

Sinclair succeeds George Jack, who was elected as SRU President in succession to Andy Irvine following a narrow election victory at the Scottish Rugby Union's annual general meeting in June, and will serve an initial term of two years.
