Tender for re-instatement of club interior has been issued to 4 nominated contractors with response due within next 2 weeks, hich will then allow negotiation with loss adjustor.

Five main fund-raising themes, currently work in progress:

Matthew Eastwood writing to all in Portobello seeking donation
Stuart Watt & Ian Boyter to organise Golf Day (SW to fund £1500 on default)
Matthew Eastwood has agreement in principle for Bucket Collection at Scotland match – E Willis / B McBain / W Denham volunteer youth assistance)
IG / E Henderson Snr. / E Henderson Jnr. – On-line Fantasy World Cup Forecast
Lunch or Dinner proposed on Friday 21 September in Portobello Town Hall – 2 or 4 speakers (Sean Fitzpatrick / Scott Glynn or George McNeill) – 20 Tables x 10 at £400 or £500 with Auction (Sport related material – signed Scotland strip / Hearts / Barcelona / Hibs etc) and Raffle – aimed at business community – sponsor (RBS) to be sought.
